Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24HR Foundation

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24HR Foundation

Lancome’s Teint Idole Ultra has been my go-to favorite foundation for a few years now. It’s been a staple from my makeup novice days to now, where I have people asking me for makeup advice. The biggest selling point for me on this foundation is their shade range. Almost anyone can find a shade to match their skin tone. From the fairest to the deepest.

Another great quality of Lancome’s Teint Idole Ultra is that it is great for us oily folks. My skin, for example, tries it’s hardest to do the best impression of the sides of a Popeye’s deep fryer. It doesn’t matter what the weather is like or how I’ve prepped my skin. At some point in the day, it gets tired of me feeling good about myself and I look like I got hit in the face with a wing from Crown Fried Chicken. However, with the Teint Idole Ultra I get a couple more hours before my skin becomes my biggest hater. Plus, even when I do start to get oily, it looks more dewy than gross, since the foundation originally has a matte finish. The foundation doesn’t separate or get patchy.

One of my favorite features of this foundation is how light it feels on my skin. Now, it doesn’t feel like a tinted moisturizer or BB cream, but for a medium, but buildable coverage foundation it is incredibly comfortable. Honestly, the reason why I didn’t start wearing makeup sooner in life is because I couldn’t stand how heavy all the popular foundations felt. But this one changed everything for me.

Now for its drawbacks. I’m getting up there in age, over 30 to give you an idea, and I’ve developed some prominent laugh lines around my nose and mouth. Lancome’s Teint Idole Ultra definitely will settle into these lines. Like to the point where I look like a Disney villain.
